Landed Cost explanation

Landed Cost is the cost of a purchased item with the shipping and other costs included. eGrow Connect allows you to select different ways of calculating Landed Cost.
Tip: You can change the default Landed Cost Distribution on purchase orders in System Setup > Company Preferences > Purchasing.
- Navigate to your purchase order.
- Enter the Freight and Other costs of the overall order in the financial summary table to the right.
- Find the Landed Cost Distribution selector and choose between the options:
- By Value: Additional costs will be distributed more to more expensive plants.
- By Volume: Additional costs will be distributed more to plants that take up more space on the truck.
- Weight: Additional costs will be distributed more to plants with a higher weight.
